We've determined that there is an issue with today's new game, Heroes of Might and Magic V, and so we are temporarily removing it until we have corrected the problem. Hopefully this will only take an hour or two. We apologize for the inconvenience.

As I can't seem to download it, I assume it's still down. Any news on when it'll be back up?

Same here can't DL the game, it sends me to a downgrade offer from premium status to free.

Uh Pete you might have jumped the gun a bit. For me at least!

I get the downgrade thing every now and then, but also, it stops and dies on me at about 324 MB ... every time. I delete ad restart. Always in the same place. Nothing seems to help. (reboot, etc). Ideas? Suggestions? Comments?

it stopped at 336 on me once got a 4100 then it wouldnt turn back on redownloading as i type

Rejoice for mne finally works! It's just has awsome (and difficult/time consuming) as I remember!

I had mine working yesterday... it stopped towards the end of the download, but I just started it again and it was fine. That said, I haven't tried the expansion packs yet, so... *shrug*

It's fun... a bit confusing, but fun. I'm at the third mission in the Haven campaign (which is where I stopped playing for the night).

EDIT: Oh, and if anyone can tell me how to split my units up, I'd be grateful. A stack of 100-200+ peasants, while funny to watch, isn't very useful when you are going up against two sets of archers. What'd be useful is if I could make 2-3 split groups so that I could have flanks and such.

Well, in HoMM III, to split units into two groups, you held down shift while moving a group of units to another slot.

HoMM V still isn't working for me, but I'm pretty patient.

mine finally downloaded thru it was prolly the longest wait for a game to download thru but was totally worth it

Mine download bar is stuck at minimum but it lets me play the game. I just hope I don't have a partial dowload or I'm bound to run out of game! When I click "start" it just disappears!

We've found the issue and are currently working on it. It appears to be a regional caching issue which is why some can play and some cannot.
