I have a premium account and a 64 bit computer. Can anyone recommend any two player games? either hotseat or online multiplayer is fine.

The Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War series is good - though Gametap doesn't have the final expansion and I'm not sure how they handle them. At retail, you need to have certain expansions installed to play certain races, but the game can be played with any version. Of course the Unreal Tournament series is good, especially 2004. If you want a slower shooter, the Rainbow Six Vegas series, though not my personal favorite, can be fun. Trackmania can also be loads of fun, though I've had trouble getting that to work on Vista 64bit.

With DOW on here, I think you install both available games and run them seperately. If you want to switch from a race in one to a race in the other, you have to exit, open the other...I'm not sure if there's any overlap with the races or not. In the OP's case, I guess he's stuck with whatever he can get with Dark Crusade.

Currently, you can't use any of the races from either DOW or Winter Assault in the GT version of Dark Crusade. The reason is that, even though you have the other two games dowloaded, they are unable to "see" each other. GT is working on this problem but, anyone's guess on when it will happen.

Sacred Gold is a lot of fun to play with another person. You can set up a sub-account with your friend and play with him/her.

Bumping this topic since I'm wondering the same thing. Got 64-bit but I'm looking for some good co-op games or anything I suppose that is fun with 1 or 2 other people. I've already played the hell out of Titan Quest, starting up Rainbow Six Vegas right now. Any other suggestions would be great.

On sacred golds information page it says it doesn't support multiplayer... is it wrong or does it really not have it?

I'm 95% sure multiplayer will be fine with SG. I'm currently getting it so I'll let you know in a few. I think the trouble here will be getting 2 copies running multiplayer at the same time on 1 Gametap account. Might work, might not. However, if you can convince the other people to buy the game, you should have zero issues.

After trying it, I don't think Sacred has multiplayer on Gametap, unless you can get a cd key. I don't think GT gives any out for this game...I could be wrong though.

Neverwinter Nights, if you're into co-op RPGs. I remember playing Icewind Dale all night with some friends once. It helps if you're DnD nerds :p

I agree, that would make things much easier for all of us. Of course even though some games do have multiplayer it is useless without a cd-key. They also need to mark those games somehow. Just sayin!

Far Cry is like that. It's multi, but you need a key and GT doesn't provide one.

That's unfortunate about Far Cry, thanks for the update buddha. From what I can tell, when GT has a game without a MP key, it still says no multiplayer on the game's page, even if LAN and direct are still available. Might be wrong there but it's the best way I've discovered to figure it out before having to download it...

gametap staff has so much stuff on their minds, so i don't think that filter that you mention is possible mudriff i could be wrong though.

the problem is even if the game have MP they mark it as no cuz GT does not want to deal with it. Take splinter cell 1 of them has MP and you need a key but cant get one. Take both Full Spectrum Warrior I own the games at home and I know they have MP but on GT they dont. I personal hate single player games as they are boring but thats all GT is about. If I ever find a company like GT that has MP games that work they will be getting my money in a heartbeat.

GT has many. Keep trying. I can tell you that UT2004, UT3, Rainbow 6 Vegas 1 & 2 all have mp functioning, but there's way more I'm sure.
