I downloaded what GAMETAP claimed was an "EXTREME" version of the game. I paid $30 for it only to find out it is the exact same version with the difficulty settings cranked up a little. Also it had new packaging to complete the scam. I hope GAMETAP enjoys my $30 and in fact i hope they choke on it. I will never spend any money at GAMETAP again and I will make it a point to tell anyone who will listed about this ripoff.

This sounds more like the developer's fault than Gametap's...

gametap didn't make the game, or force you to buy it without researching.

If you are referring to Stronghold Crusader Extreme, and I think you are, then Buster is correct. The game was designed by the developer as you see it. We did not create it. Moreover, this title can be found in plenty of other stores both online and off.

I think this thread has served its purpose.
