Yeah, I never understood the whole Pay to Play thing. I will say though as they keep adding new thngs to gold (like 1vs100) it's value has increased significantly. Between 1vs100 (which I consider the rough equivalent of a full game) Gold Discounts (deal o' the week) and won raffles (free month!) Gold has paid for most of itself.
