The All-Time Champions

The all-time high score for the arcade version of Burnin' Rubber, as recorded by Twin Galaxies, is 2,429,540, recorded March 15, 1982 by Marco Donadio from Italy.

The all-time GameTap high score is 424,660, recorded June 24, 2008 by user themasonator. themasonator also holds spots 2-10, as you can plainly see.



Get practicing, folks, you have five days! Here are the official rules:

1. Contestants will have from 7 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Monday, July 7, 2008, to submit their scores to the leaderboard via the GameTap client.
2. Only the top score per TapID will count toward the contest, with all other scores being thrown out.
3. Only one TapID per household will be eligible.

Remember that Burnin' Rubber is a free game, so absolutely anyone can participate! You don't need a GameTap Gold account to be eligible for our fabulous prizes.
