Basics
The idea behind soccer is to get the soccer ball into your opponent's goal without touching it with hands or arms. Your players will automatically keep their hands to themselves, though, so you're free to move, shoot and pass. You have two halves of two minutes each to score more points than the other team. If you do, you win!
Controls
Move players in any direction around the field. To control the ball, simply run the player into it and then head for the goal. For a medium kick, press the fire button. For a low pass, press the fire button and the direction you are running. To kick a high ball, press the fire button and the opposite direction. With all kicks and passes, the power depends on how fast you're running.
Tip: Control Switch
The computer will make sure you are controlling the player nearest the ball, but you can press the fire button to quickly switch to the next nearest one.
Tip: Accuracy
In 11 A-Side Soccer, you're playing a full game of professional soccer with regulation rules, including fouls, corners, goal kicks, penalties, throw-ins, off-sides and more! This is an attempt to perfectly simulate soccer, so you may need to brush up on your rules.
