Gameplay

Press the Select button to choose the number of cards you wish to use in your game, then press the Reset button to begin. Use the keypad to enter the number of the card you wish to select, then press enter. That card will be flipped over, revealing an icon. Enter the number of another card with the keypad and press enter. A second card will be flipped, revealing the icon beneath it.

Scoring

The object of A Game of Concentration is to match pairs of icons. When you flip over two cards covering the same icon, those cards are removed from the table, and you score two points. However, if you flip two cards with different icons underneath them, those cards are returned to the table and play passes to the other player. This makes it important to remember exactly where the icons are, so you can take advantage of their locations in your next turn.

Winning

The game ends when all cards have been removed from the table. The player with the most points at the end of the game is the winner. If you're not happy with the outcome of a finished game, just press the Reset button for a rematch!

Tip: It's All About Memory

Some people find it easier to associate the images with numbers, others with the card's position on the board. Whatever works best for you, do your best to keep track of what icons go where.

Tip: More Cards

For a tougher challenge and a longer game, press the Select button several times to increase the number of cards on the playfield before you begin.
