Controls

You control a ship that moves horizontally along the bottom of the screen. Press one button to fire and another to enter hyperspace, which will randomly transport your ship to the left or right of the screen. This is especially useful for those panic-stricken moments.

Basics

Your basic targets are the multi-colored meteors falling from the sky, which break in half when you shoot them. Make sure to shoot both halves. Small rocks are just as deadly as big rocks, and they cost you twice as many points if they land. Bombs are also among the falling debris. If these white explosives land, they will destroy everything on the planet -- including you! Make them your highest priority.

Other Enemies

Watch out for UFOs and guided missiles. These enemies lock in on you and track your movements. Hit missiles while they are high or you will need to avoid them on the ground. Shoot UFOs before they can home in on you and drop bombs.

Tip: Missile Misses

Once a guided missile reaches ground level, it will fly along the surface where you cannot shoot at it. Your only hope is to dodge it by jumping into hyperspace. Be prepared to jump into hyperspace two or three times until you appear behind the missile.

Tip: Scoring

Your score goes up every time you shoot something. You lose points (or a tank) every time something hits the planet. Just as shooting small meteors is worth more points than big meteors, small meteors hitting the planet will cost you more points than big ones.
