Basics
To move, use the WSAD keys. To jump, hit space. To crouch, hit C, to go prone, hit Ctrl, and hit Space to stand again. As you will be playing across many different battlefields, your goals will vary depending on the situation, and you will be given instructions as you go. On your minimap, goal locations will be marked with a star. Along the way, of course, there will be plenty of Nazis trying to stop you. When you take damage, the edges of your screen will go red and you will begin to breathe heavily. If you get out of danger for a few seconds, you will return to full health.
Tip: Grenades
Stepping on a grenade is the fastest way to die. Make sure to watch for the grenade indicator on your screen. If it pops up, you'll only have a few seconds to get to a safe distance.
Tip: If I'm Going Down...
Just because an enemy is on the ground doesn't mean that he's harmless, so always make sure you're you've actually made a kill before getting too close. Even mortally wounded foes may pull out a pistol and keep shooting for a few seconds.
Weapons
You are able to carry two weapons at a time, usually one long range and one short range. Switch between your weapons by hitting 1. To aim more carefully, use the right mouse button, and fire with the left mouse button. You also can carry up to 4 each of frag and smoke grenades. You will automatically collect ammo and grenades from weapons on the ground as you pass over them. You can also swap out with a weapon by walking up to it and hitting the F key.
Tip: Keep an Ear Open
During firefights, your allies will constantly shout helpful information about the battle. They will tell you about the location of nearby enemies, if they are reloading, or if there are incoming grenades. Likewise, enemies aren't shy about yelling and giving away their location. If you hear German, you know that bad guys are going to be just around the corner.
