Basics
There are three meters at the bottom of the screen: purple, orange and green. Combine the red, blue and yellow proteins on the board to combine them into cells -- red and blue proteins make purple cells, red and yellow proteins make orange cells and blue and yellow proteins make green cells. When any cell has ten or more proteins in it, it disappears to fill your meter. Fill all three meters to complete the level.
Virus
After you complete the first level or two, viruses will begin appearing on the board. These spiky hazards will infect completed cells, steadily reducing the number of proteins in the cell. Adding the infected cell to a group of proteins will remove the virus from it.
Gameplay Modes
In Story Mode, you're given a time limit on each level to make a certain number of matches in each color. In Puzzle Mode, the board has a set number of proteins, and you'll have to clear them all to proceed. In Eternal Mode, there's no time limit; you're restricted only by your ability to chain proteins and avoid viruses.
Tip: Chains
While proteins are connected and combining into a cell, you can contribute to that cell by continuing to match proteins of the same colors nearby. If you combine, for example, red and blue protiens in a large group, you can then click another group of blue and red cells while the first group joins. If the two groups are close enough, they'll make one massive cell and put massive points into your score.
Tip: Center Stage
The first protein you click will move into the second protein, then any other proteins are drawn to that location to create the cell. Use this knowledge to position your cells on the game board -- near the center, they're more likely to be included in other groups to reach that ever-important margin of ten proteins required to clear the cell, but they're also more easily found by roaming viruses.
