Movement
Rourke and his team are a surprisingly agile bunch, so you will be spending a good amount of your time climbing buildings and scaling ledges Prince of Persia-style. To move on the ground, use the WSAD keys. To jump, hit the Spacebar. If you jump at a pole, ledge, or other climbable object, you will automatically grab hold. Use the Spacebar again to pull yourself up, or hit C to drop. To jump from a ledge or pole to a different object, first hit Left Shift to prep yourself, then spacebar to jump. You can also wall-jump by running towards a wall, jumping at it, then bouncing off to a higher level. You will also occasionally find motorcycles. To get on, press the Left Shift key, then use the Left Mouse Button to accelerate.
Tip: Spirit Vision
After your first mission, you will receive the gift of Spirit Vision. To use, hold the Z key. While in Spirit Vision, you will be able to see your friends and enemies even at a great distance and through walls or other obstacles. Your friends will glow blue, and enemies will be red. You can use this to see how many enemies are ahead of you and plan your attack. You can also use your Spirit Vision to heal fallen friends at a distance. Simply look at them in Spirit Vision, and you will have the opportunity to heal them with the Left Shift key.
Tip: Any Which Way
Though your objectives are mostly linear, the levels are very large and open. This means that your path to get from point A to point B is entirely up to you. If you are having trouble getting to a certain point, stop and take a look around. Chances are good that there is another way up.
Combat
Of course, it can¿t all be running and jumping, there are also plenty of enemies to deal with. To fight, you will first need to hold down the right mouse button to enter combat mode. To fire, hit the left mouse button, and to zoom, the center mouse button. To crouch behind walls or obstacles, use the C key. To throw a mine, hit the Q key, or hold to place the mine at your feet, then hit Q again to detonate. As you take damage, your vision will blur and go gray, but you will slowly recover when not taking damage. If one of your companions falls in battle, you can help them up by going over to them and hitting the Left Shift key. You can carry three weapons at a time: two larger weapons and one pistol. If you find other weapons along the way, you can swap out an existing weapon for the new one.
