Basics

Move the mouse to change the direction your ship faces. Hold down the left mouse button to fire your ship’s cannon and hold down the right mouse button to apply thrust to your ship. Double-click and hold the left mouse button to charge a shot. Press on the mouse scroll wheel or press [Enter] to detonate a bomb, destroying anything remotely near your ship. Supplies are limited, so don’t get too reliant on these devices!

Enemies

Occasionally enemy ships will spawn onto the playing field. Unlike the asteroids, these are aggressive and seek to destroy you! Most of these are content to simply ram your ship to destroy it, but more advanced models appear in later levels. Shoot these ships to destroy them.

Powerups

As you destroy objects, small white motes will begin drifting around the stage. These are automatically drawn to your ship; charge a shot to attract them faster. These motes will increase your score, and as your score increases, your weapons will improve. The first upgrade is a faster rate of fire, then a laser cannon, then batteries of missiles.

Tip: Satellites

Blow up any machinery you see. While the scrap metal that floats around after the explosion is as dangerous as any asteroid out there, a round “M” icon also appears from the rubble. This is a point multiplier that can be collected to boost your score, so be sure to get it!

Tip: Screen Wrap

Objects flying off the top of the screen reappear at the bottom, and vice versa. Similarly, objects that go off of one side of the screen reappear on the other. Your ship can move from one side to the other in the same way, but beware -- your mouse cursor will not move, often causing a radical shift in the direction your ship faces and fires when you emerge on the far side.
