Controls
Fly your fighter around the screen by pressing up, down, left and right. Your Fire button is your best friend; you’ll be spending lots of time together in Giga Wing. Tap the button repeatedly to keep up the offense. Hold the Fire button down to activate a force field that bounces enemy fire back towards the source! The shield takes a few seconds to recharge, so use it wisely.
Force Bombs
When the going gets tough, fire off a force bomb. These WMDs do massive damage and will momentarily clear the screen to give you a breather. Careful, they come in limited numbers!
Tip: Patterns
While it may seem at times that the screen is awash in a sea of chaos, there’s actually method to the madness. Each boss will have a distinct pattern that can be learned and put to good use.
Tip: Invincibility
Dropping a bomb will make your ship momentarily invincible, giving you a split-second respite from the endless assaults.
Tip: Scoring
The four ships each behave differently, from rate and type of fire to force bomb effect. Play around with each ship to find your particular type of firepower.
