Golden Axe is a pioneer of the hack-n-slash, beat-em-up genre. Choose one of three warriors and commence with the butt whuppin'. Slash baddies with your sword, clock them on the head or sling them over your shoulder and hurl them off a cliff. You also have magic attacks, the most powerful of which are a sight to behold. But you're not a real hero until you defeat the evil tyrant, Death Adder!
