Items
Grell and Falla have access to different items and magic spells. They are grouped into ground spells (that make the ground hearty), creature spells (like stars that turn baddies into cuties), powerup spells (that give health and speed) and objects (like flower seeds). Press down and the fire button to use the selected item. If you want more of anything, be sure and visit the "shoppe" located at the beginning of each garden level.
Basics
Your goal is to rid the garden of pesky bugs while planting flowers to make improvements. You can switch between the burly Grell and the dainty Falla on the fly. Move them left and right -- by holding up, Falla flies and Grell jumps. Press the fire button to punch the garden pests. They will change color and often drop an item. Make all the bugs change color, and you'll move on to the next level.
Tip: Flight
Remember that Falla's ability to fly allows her to reach many places that Grell cannot.
Tip: Safekeeping
Be sure and place whichever character you aren't using at the moment on high ground. That way when you switch back, they won't be taking damage.
