Basics
Everything around the stout and curmudgeonly Grimm turns from light to dark, a power heâ¿¿ll have to utilize in his quest to return sappy, commercially-friendly fairy tales to their harsh roots. Walk near small objects to transform them and raise your the Dark-O-Meter on the top of the screen. As the Dark-O-Meter increases, Grimmâ¿¿s dark influence becomes more substantial, allowing you to transform wider areas and larger objects.
Controls
American McGeeâ¿¿s Grimm can be controlled with a gamepad, keyboard, or mouse. Refer to the in-game Instructions section for specifics. We recommend the mouse and keyboard combination, using the [WASD] combination to move and the mouse to both control the camera and jump.
Tip: Reaching a Higher Ground
Grimm will hop forward by pressing the Jump button. Press the Jump button again while mid-air to perform a Buttstomp, which will transform a large area, clear certain obstacles, and temporarily stun any pesky Cleaners nearby. While standing still, Grimm will expel an arc, which determines the trajectory of his jump; simply press the Jump button, and he will lunge right to the splash point.
