Getting Started
Press the Game Select button to choose one of the game's eight difficulty levels. In some levels, the streets are filled with dangerous traffic, while in others, there's more room to move, but the cars move at erratic speeds. A lane of Sunday drivers may lull you into a false sense of security before crushing the gas pedal...and you as well, if you're not careful! When you've made your selection, press the fire button to begin.
Controls
Your character appears on the bottom of the screen, standing on the sidewalk. Cars can't reach him here, but at the same time, you won't score any points if he doesn't venture out onto the freeway! Press up and down on the controller to move your character in those directions. Beware of the cars that rush past as you cross the road; one collision is all it takes to turn your character into traffic jam!
Scoring
The object of Bloody Human Freeway is, well, to reach the other side of the freeway! Each time you make it across the road, you'll score a point, and your character will appear on the bottom of the screen, ready for another exciting run! Keep him moving and out of the way of traffic to rack up even more points. If your character is hit by a car, don't sweat it -- he'll be stopped in his tracks temporarily, but you won't lose any points.
Time Limit
Cars and trucks aren't your only enemy in Bloody Human Freeway! You're also fighting against the clock, earning as many points as you can in a two minute time limit. When you're almost out of time, your score will flash wildly as a warning that your game is about to end. Don't let that slow you down, though! You can still squeeze in a couple more points before time runs out. When the game ends, press the fire button to begin another.
Tip: Hold Your Fire!
Keep your hands off the fire button while you're playing the game! If you press it, the game will reset, and all the points you've earned will vanish!
Tip: Accidents Will Happen
If you can't avoid getting struck by a car, minimize your damage by touching the last vehicle in a line of cars. If you get hit by the first, you'll have to wait until the last one passes before you can begin moving again.
