Basics
The Brickster is disassembling LEGO Island one brick at a time, and he's also unleashed an army of deadly Brickster Bots. Pepper has to endure 20 wacky mini-games and challenges to track down the Brickster and get LEGO Island back to normal. LEGO Island 2 is a single player game designed for players over the age of six.
Objectives
Your ultimate goal is to get the Brickster behind bars, but there's plenty to do on the island while you're working on it. Games, interactive hotspots, fun activities and more than 50 LEGO characters populate the island. You'll deliver pizzas, battle Brickster bots, race LEGO vehicles and much more in your pursuit of the brick-breaking villain. There are no objectives in the early stages of the game, so you can explore and talk to people while learning the controls.
Missions
The Brickster isn't going to make this easy for you. Tracking down his whereabouts, finding pieces of the Constructopedia and defeating his Brickster Bots are just part of the challenge. Along with exploring the islands, you'll face several challenging mini-games, each of which will get you a little closer to the Brickster's lair. The objectives of these missions vary, but remember that LEGO Island 2 is about exploration and interaction first, winning second.
Controls
LEGO Island 2 is a third-person game. You control Pepper with the keyboard or gamepad and manipulate the camera with the mouse. There are plenty of drivable vehicles scattered around the island, all of which have the same basic controls as walking but may handle differently. Controlling both movement and the camera may take a little getting used to, but luckily things don't get too hectic until later in the game.
Tip: Constructopedia
You can boost your score by collecting extra Constructopedia pages.
Tip: Pizza Counter
Keep an eye on the pizza counter to see how many more pies you've got to deliver.
Tip: Missions
Though you're free to explore and interact as you see fit, the challenges required to capture the Brickster must be completed in order.
Tip: Keep It Up
Some of the challenges and minigames can be quite difficult. You can save your game whenever you like, so save often and keep trying.
