Name Entry

When starting a game of Magic Academy for the first time, you will be asked to enter your player name. This is so that more than one person in your household can save their individual progress: to switch players, click on the icon on the lower-left of the main menu screen that says "Click here to change player.”

Gameplay

Playing a stage in Magic Academy is as simple as pointing with your mouse and clicking with the left button. Typical scenarios, such as the one pictured, will task you with finding and clicking on hidden objects within a certain category. Your first task will be to locate all of the documents, sheets of paper and scrolls in the classroom.

Main Menu

From the Main Menu, click on "Play” to start a new game or continue your previous save, "Options” to adjust volume levels, change your mouse cursor, or toggle Fullscreen mode on or off, "Credits” to meet the people responsible for Magic Academy, or "Exit” to return to GameTap.

The Map

Before each stage, you will have a conversation with one of the story’s main characters, which advances the game’s plot and brings you closer to finding your sister. The character’s dialog will be displayed in a speech bubble near the top of the screen, while Annie’s dialog is displayed on the bottom. Simply click your left mouse button to advance the text.

Tip: Variety

In addition to finding all examples of a certain type of item, other challenges in Magic Academy include finding a variety of items based on a list, finding the differences between two versions of the same image (pictured), finding items based only on their silhouettes, and more.
