Basics
Colored pieces will fall onto the game field from the top of the screen. Click on pieces that are adjacent to at least two other pieces of the same color to remove them from the field. When you clear enough pieces, you’ll move on to the next level. If the pieces fill up the game board, it’s game over!
Inhale and Exhale
Right-click on a piece to “inhale” it, removing it from the board temporarily. You may right-click elsewhere to put the piece back on the field. This can be helpful when you need to match pieces of a given color, but there’s one straggler of a different color in the way: just inhale the piece in your way and make the match you need!
Powerups
Occasionally a powerup will appear in place of one of the normal game pieces. The game will tell you how to use each one when it appears for the first time. Most of these make a distinctive sound when they are on the field, so you’ll know to look around when you hear the boing or tick of a new powerup.
Tip: Highlight
When the cursor points to a valid match, all of the pieces in that match will turn a slightly brighter color. You can find matches by simply watching for that color change.
Tip: Judge By Color
It’s often useful to intentionally ignore a certain color and only make matches of other colors. That way there are lots of pieces in one color on the board, giving you a huge combo!
