The alien Mental wants Earth...retroactively. So he's sent an army to ancient Egypt, figuring the planet will be easy to conquer before humans have invented guns and missiles and stuff. But he's not counting on "Serious" Sam Stone, a wisecracking hero armed with a bad attitude, a helpful AI implant and more firepower than an NRA convention.
