Basics

In Shark! Shark!, your goal is simple: Survive. You begin the game as a tiny yellow fish, and must use your directional pad to navigate through an ocean of nasty underwater beings. The only way to stay alive is to devour smaller fish in order to gain strength and size. The more you eat, the larger you grow. If you come into contact with a bigger fish, you'll lose a life... after all, they're hungry too. When you lose a life, your fish reverts back to original size.

Enemies

For every 1000 points earned, your fish will expand one size, up to five times your original dimensions. (Every 1000 points after that nets you an extra life.) However, there's one creature you'll never be able to consume: the shark, that ferocious predator of the deep. You can, however, turn the tables on a shark a bit -- if you nibble on the shark's tail, you'll earn bonus points toward your growth tally! To survive in this ocean, you'll need quick reactions and nerves of steel.

Tip: Chow Down

In the simultaneous two-player mode, you can eat your opponent if you're bigger than him! Increase your size as quickly as possible to gain this obvious advantage.

Tip: Score Rollover

Even though your fish shrinks down to size when you lose a life, your score counter continues running. Any points you've earned toward the next thousand will carry over; for example, if you die with 850 points, you'll only need 150 more to reach the next level.
