Controls
Move the joystick up or down to leap up or down to the ledges above or below Son Son. You can launch fireballs from Son Son’s staff or Ton Ton’s pitchfork by pressing the Fire button.
Scoring
As you move through each level, you’ll find special items scattered randomly in your path. Pick up food or flowers for bonus points! Keep your eyes open for the rarer varieties of food, like strawberry shortcake or pineapples. Son Son’s always hungry, so if you grab one of these items, you’ll get a huge point bonus.
Extra Lives
You’ll receive an extra life when you reach 20,000 points and 80,000 points. After that, you’ll get an extra life with every 10,000 points you get (so 90,000, then 100,000, and so on).
Tip: POW
When you see the flashing POW item, grab it to instantly transform every enemy in the level into delicious food.
Tip: The Second Quest
Once you’ve obtained the staff on Level 20, the game is over, and you’ve won! Now you can play through the game again, but this time, the enemies are tougher and the special items are worth more points. Are you ready for a challenge?
