Basics & Teams
Each team in Street Slam features three members, but you control only one at a time. While playing offense, you control the player with the ball; you will automatically throw to whichever team member is closest to your current position when you pass. While playing defense, the computer will switch your controls automatically to put you closest to the ball. You use only two buttons in Street Slam: one passes and steals, and the other shoots and blocks.
Winning
There are eight teams from which to choose in Street Slam. Each team has its own strengths and weaknesses, rated according to several categories: Speed, defense, dunking and 3-point shooting. Speedy teams will be best on the offense, quickly outrunning their opponents; teams with excellent defense will be able to retain possession of the ball easily. Dunking teams excel at close action, while those with a high 3-pointer rating can avoid messy entanglements and score from a safe distance.
Tips & Tricks
Every time you hit a successful basket, your Super Shot meter rises. Once it maxes out, you're guaranteed to sink your next attempt -- even if it's a three-pointer!
