A once beautiful and prosperous kingdom has fallen under the spell of dark magic. When the undead began to rise from their graves, most of the people fled, and the kingdom was largely abandoned. In this forbidding land, a thief, a wizard, and a knight each find themselves, by coincidence, drawn to a mystical artifact known as the Trine. Much to their chagrin, the Trine binds them together. Now the heroes must travel the kingdom, looking for a way to break the Trine's hold and save the kingdom in the process.
