Basics
Turtix is a platformer in the style of many classic arcade and console games of old. You must run and jump your way through each level, bouncing on your enemies to disarm them, then kicking to defeat them. Along the way, you will need to rescue the young turtles trapped in cages, and collect gems for points. Turtix can be played with a keyboard, mouse or controller.
Enemies
Though there are many different enemies, most all are dispatched with a jump-kick combo. However, be aware of some of the exceptions, such as the umbrella holder, who can only be attacked when his umbrella is down, or the bee, who cannot be killed at all. Also, if an enemy is guarding a cage, you will have to kill the enemy before you can open that cage.
Tip: Secrets
Most secret areas are found by following all possible paths in the level, but there are some secret areas only found past the end of level teleporter. Once you have freed all the turtles in the area, this teleporter becomes active, and you won't be able to get past it, so check this before freeing the final turtle.
